England's Toby Flood will miss Saturday's clash with New Zealand with a toe injury.

Toby Flood will play no part during England's encounter with New Zealand at the weekend because of a toe injury.

The fly-half sustained the problem during Saturday's 16-15 defeat to South Africa at Twickenham.

A scan has revealed that while there is no broken bone, the complaint is severe enough to warrant some rest over the coming days.

Flood's omission is likely to see Owen Farrell come into the starting lineup, with Freddie Burns being promoted to the bench.
