Man of the match Ruan Pienaar claimed that his Ulster teammates showed 'guts and character' as they beat Edinburgh 22-19 in their Heineken Cup semi-final in Dublin.
The South African kicked over 17 of his side's points as they recorded a narrow victory over the dogged Scots at the Aviva Stadium.
"Edinburgh are a fantastic side, they played well," Pienaar told Sky Sports News.
"The first half was tough, we hardly had any ball but the forwards played well and defended well and showed a lot of guts and a lot of character out there.
"All of us know what it meant for the region back in 1999 (when they last won the final) and for us to go to Twickenham is fantastic and I'd just like to thank all the supporters. It was magical running out there in front of so many Ulster supporters."
Ulster will face either Clermont Auvergne or Leinster in the final on Saturday, May 19.
