Ireland are looking for a specialist scrum coach after the pack's performance in this year's Six Nations.

The Irish tight five were outplayed by England on Saturday, with weakness in the scrum a key part of England's eventual 30-9 win.

Ireland's lack of resources at tighthead was highlighted when Mike Ross was forced off the field by an injury and was then replaced by loosehead Tom Court.

The Irish union is hoping that a specialist scrum coach will be able to foster new talent from youth level up.
