Bath cruise to win against Newport Gwent Dragons

Bath clinch a comfortable bonus point win against Newport Gwent Dragons in the Challenge Cup.

Bath Rugby have cruised to a comfortable 30-13 win over Newport Gwent Dragons in the Amlin Challenge Cup this afternoon.

The visitors dominated the opening spell, scoring four tries in 25 minutes to ensure a commanding lead at half time, with Micky Young and Tom Biggs among those on the scoresheet.

Nic Cudd managed to find a gap early in the second half to give the Welsh side some hope, battling to the line for the home side's first try of the match.

The visitors did not push to add to their score in the second half, having already secured a bonus point with their first-half performance, taking off several of their starters shortly after the re-start.

Newport pressed hard for a second in the final minutes of the match, but Matt Banahan timed a tackle perfectly to stop the hosts from adding to their score.
