Northampton Saints flanker Calum Clark has been banned for 32 weeks for an incident during the team's LV Cup final defeat to Leicester Tigers 11 days ago.

The 22-year-old was cited for breaking the arm of Leicester's Rob Hawkins.

The Aviva Premiership club had suspended Clark "indefinitely" on Friday for the incident.

He has now been given a 32-week suspension for "an act contrary to good sportsmanship" following an RFU hearing.

Clark will next be available for the Saints on Friday, November 2.
