Scotland's Lee Jones has insisted that his side can win a medal in rugby sevens at the Commonwealth Games.
Reigning champions New Zealand, England, Australia and South Africa are all expected to battle it out for the medal spots over the weekend, although Scotland raised eyebrows by almost inflicting a first Commonwealth defeat on the All Blacks earlier today.
The hosts were cheered on by a raucous crowd inside Ibrox as they reduced a 17-point deficit to just three, and Jones was quick to praise the "incredible" support his side received.
When asked whether a medal was a realistic target, Jones told Sports Mole: "Yes. [The support] was absolutely incredible. To have 45,000 cheering us on was unbelievable."
Scotland will face Barbados in the evening session before a likely qualifying decider against Canada.
