Wales kicking coach Neil Jenkins believes that Scotland will be feeling more of the pressure as the sides prepare to meet in the Six Nations on Sunday.
The Welsh were beaten by England in Cardiff last Friday while the Scots earned plaudits for their performance in defeat to France.
Jenkins has claimed that the weight of expectation may have an impact on Vern Cotter's team in Edinburgh.
He told BBC Sport: "I'm sure they'll put pressure on themselves, it's a home game.
"I think they'll want to win their home games - we do. We lost last week so we need to win on the road. It's as simple as that.
"After the disappointment of last week, we realise we have to pick it up a gear or two and we've done that this week. I'm looking forward to the game and the guys are certainly raring to go."
Wales will be without George North and prop Samson Lee after both suffered concussions against England.
