Great Britain's Johanna Konta has secured her spot in the third round at Indian Wells courtesy of a 6-4 6-0 win over Madison Brengle.
The two players were level at four games apiece in the opening set.
However, world number 27 Konta then won the next eight games in a row to wrap up the victory.
"Every single point we have played in the past has always been a battle, so I consider this a really good win," said the 24-year-old.
Konta will now take on Denisa Allertova for a place in round four.
