AC Milan have reportedly missed out on appointing Ralf Rangnick as the club's next manager.
Despite winning nine and losing just six of his 22 matches in charge, it has been claimed that Stefano Pioli will be replaced in the San Siro dugout later in 2020.
Last month, there was a suggestion that Rangnick - Red Bull's head of sport - was their preferred choice to replace the 54-year-old.
However, according to Sky Germany, Rangnick has opted to remain in his current position for the foreseeable future.
Although the German has recently had two spells as manager of RB Leipzig, it appears that his priority is to stay in a role behind the scenes.
