FIFA president Sepp Blatter has insisted that world football's governing body are working hard to eradicate racism from football following the weekend's most recent incident in Serie A.
The goalless draw between AC Milan and Roma on Sunday was suspended for two minutes in the second half due to racist chants being directed at Milan striker Mario Balotelli.
Blatter wrote on Twitter: "Appalled to read about racist abuse in Serie A last night. Tackling this issue is complex, but we're committed to action, not just words."
The Roma supporters were given a warning following the chants, but more action is yet to be taken.
