On-loan AFC Wimbledon defender Semi Ajayi has claimed that he is relishing the prospect of gaining further experience in the bottom tier.
The 21-year-old linked up with the Dons on a short-term deal after struggling to break into Cardiff City's first team.
Having lacked playing time at senior level since joining from Arsenal's academy ranks in 2013, Ajayi says that he is simply happy to be out on the field and putting his defensive qualities to good use.
Asked how he is finding the demands of football at League Two level, the centre-back is quoted by Get West London as saying: "I wasn't really surprised, I'm enjoying it.
"It's exactly what I expected. It's direct, physical and aggressive, but to be fair you've got to do the basics well in any league. It's good for me and it's good for my future."
Ajayi has started two games for Wimbledon since joining on loan at the end of last month.
