How Arsenal could line up against Watford

Ahead of Saturday's Premier League clash between Arsenal and Watford, Sports Mole looks at how the Gunners could line up at the Emirates Stadium.

Arsenal head into Saturday's Premier League fixture with Watford having put together a six-match winning streak in all competitions.

The Gunners had began the campaign with two successive defeats, but Unai Emery has witnessed his team prevail in each game since the second weekend of the season.

Arsenal have kept just one clean sheet in those eight outings, with that shutout coming in last weekend's 2-0 triumph over Everton at the Emirates Stadium.

Emery made alterations for Wednesday's EFL Cup tie with Brentford, and here Sports Mole looks at how his side could line up against the Hertfordshire outfit.

Out: Laurent Koscielny (Achilles), Konstantinos Mavropanos (groin), Ainsley Maitland-Niles (calf), Carl Jenkinson (ankle)
Doubtful: Sokratis Papastathopoulos (thigh)

Emery could have Sokratis Papastatopoulos available again after the centre-back went off injured during the first half of last week's success over the Toffees.

Rob Holding will deputise for the former Borussia Dortmund man if he fails to recover in time, with Laurent Koscielny and Konstantinos Mavropanos remaining on the sidelines.

Lucas Torreira is expected to keep his place in the team having earned a starting role ahead of Matteo Guendouzi in the last top-flight match.

Danny Welbeck has netted four goals in all competitions this season, but the England international is likely to stay among the replacements.
