Arsenal star Mesut Ozil has confirmed that he is back in training with his teammates after missing two games with a knee injury.
The German World Cup winner has been recovering from the problem that left him out of last week's Europa League match against FC Koln and Sunday's clash at Chelsea.
Arsene Wenger's men were able to cope without their teammate as they recorded a 3-1 win over Koln, but the deadlock could not be broken at Stamford Bridge and both sides had to settle for a goalless draw.
On Instagram, Ozil, whose contract at the Emirates expires at the end of the season, posted some positive news by confirming that he has returned to his normal routine following a brief layoff.
The 28-year-old wrote: "Good news: I'm back training on the pitch. As you might have heard I'm suffering from a minor inflammation of my knee. Feeling better each day now and hope to be back playing very soon!"
Ozil, who had played every single minute of Arsenal's league fixtures before getting injured, could make his return to action against West Bromwich Albion next Monday.
