Arsenal's Santi Cazorla: 'We'll fight for Premier League title next season'

Santi Cazorla is confident that Arsenal have enough quality to challenge for the Premier League title next season.

Arsenal playmaker Santi Cazorla believes that the Gunners have a chance of being crowned Premier League champions next season.

The North London outfit will finish this campaign without a trophy, but they are still pushing to finish in the top four of the table in order to secure Champions League football for next season.

While the Gunners have had a disappointing campaign in terms of silverware, Cazorla is confident that the team has enough quality to challenge for honours.

"The aim is to win trophies," Cazorla told the club's official website. "Unfortunately Arsenal has gone eight years without a trophy, which is a long time for such a huge club that's always up there fighting with the other big clubs.

"This year we haven't been able to, for various reasons. We got far in both the FA Cup and the League Cup but it wasn't to be. I hope next year will be another story. We want to be fighting for the Premier League and all the tournaments we enter. We're a great team and I'm sure we will."

Arsenal are one point below third-placed Chelsea and two points ahead of rivals Tottenham Hotspur.
