Arsenal midfielder Francis Coquelin has revealed that he is enjoying his run in the first team this season.
The Frenchman has made 16 appearances for the Gunners since he returned to the club in December following a loan spell at Charlton Athletic.
With manager Arsene Wenger happy to put his trust in the Coquelin, the 23-year-old is relishing his chance to impress at the Emirates Stadium.
"I never got the chance to have the run of games. The manager gave it to me and I can show for the first time what I'm capable of," he told the club's official website.
"It's not to be big-headed, but I've always had confidence in myself. I knew I could do good things and he's given me the chance, so now I can show it.
"Sometimes you're down, sometimes you're up and you need to grab your chance when it comes. That's what happened with me, I'm very happy with it and I'm trying to keep my place in the team."
Arsenal are back in action on Monday when they face Manchester United at Old Trafford in the FA Cup quarter-finals.
