Mathieu Flamini has congratulated Arsenal manager Arsene Wenger ahead of his 1,000th game in charge of the team.
Wenger will reach the milestone on Saturday when the Gunners face Chelsea in the Premier League, and Flamini believes that his fellow Frenchman deserves credit for sticking with the same philosophy on the pitch during his time at the club.
"It's an unbelievable achievement," the Arsenal midfielder told reporters. "He means so much to the club for the achievements he has done until now. Congratulations to him, first of all.
"I think it's someone who knows exactly what he wants. He has a vision since the beginning, he's moved to Arsenal and he still has the same one. He know exactly how he wants to play. That's remarkable."
Wenger has won three Premier League titles and four FA Cups with Arsenal.
