Aaron Ramsey believes that Arsenal are fully motivated to finish third in the Premier League this season.

Arsenal midfielder Aaron Ramsey has said that his side are motivated to finish third.

The Gunners' recent good form has seen them win their last seven league games on the bounce. The strong run has led to Arsene Wenger's side leapfrogging rivals Tottenham Hotspur, despite being ten points behind at one point.

"We have proved what we can do and how motivated we are to finish third," said the Welshman.

"We are doing that at the moment, hopefully we can keep going."

Arsenal beat Everton 1-0 at Goodison Park last night, thanks to a Thomas Vermaelen header inside the first 10 minutes.

"It was great. We battled well and it came off. It was always going to be a tough place to come but we dealt with it well," Ramsey added.

"They have done well against some of the top teams in the league so we are very proud."

Arsenal are now sitting in third place, one point clear of Tottenham.
