Tomas Rosicky predicts Arsenal title challenge

Tomas Rosicky backs Arsenal to be challenging for the Premier League title this season.

Arsenal midfielder Tomas Rosicky has claimed that the club expects to be challenging for the Premier League title this season.

The Gunners set the early pace during the last campaign, but they eventually slipped to a fourth-placed finish.

However, Rosicky is confident that Arsenal can go one better this term with an improved squad that includes Alexis Sanchez.

"We showed last season we are there and now we have some great new players," he is quoted as saying by Sky Sports News. "I think we will be up there at least. It's our goal to win it."

Arsenal are in action tomorrow when they face Manchester City at Wembley Stadium in the Community Shield.
