Arsenal boss Unai Emery says that he will deliver exciting football ahead of his first season in charge of the Gunners.

Arsenal boss Unai Emery has said that he will deliver exciting football ahead of his first season in charge of the Gunners.

The Spaniard, who took over from Arsene Wenger in May, faces champions Manchester City and Chelsea in his opening two competitive games.

Speaking at a fan event at the Emirates Stadium, former Paris Saint-Germain coach Emery told supporters that he will look to entertain with his style of football.

"I prefer to win 5-4 than 1-0," the 46-year-old said. "Why? Because I think football is spectacular, the best form is when you score.

"If we score more, it's better. I only want to score in front though [and not concede]."

Emery's first match in charge is a friendly with Atletico Madrid on July 26.
