Arsenal are reportedly considering a summer move for Newcastle United goalkeeper Freddie Woodman.
The 23-year-old has spent the 2019-20 campaign on loan with Swansea City, keeping 11 clean sheets in 37 appearances in the Championship.
As it stands, Woodman will return to the Magpies at the end of June, but he only has little over 12 months left to run on his contract with Steve Bruce's side.
According to The Chronicle, Arsenal are lining up a swoop for the former England Under-21 international at the end of the season.
The report claims that the Gunners want Woodman, whom they have scouted on a regular basis this season, to challenge for the number one spot at the Emirates Stadium.
Bernd Leno is currently the first-choice stopper for Mikel Arteta's side, with Emiliano Martinez and Matt Macey the number two and number three respectively.
