Aston Villa could reportedly rival Arsenal for the signature of Norwich City's Emiliano Buendia.
The 24-year-old enjoyed an excellent 2020-21 campaign for Daniel Farke's side, scoring 15 times and providing 17 assists in 39 Championship appearances, playing a leading role in their title success.
A recent report claimed that Arsenal were planning to step up their interest in the Argentine, as they prepare for the possibility of Martin Odegaard returning to Real Madrid following his loan spell.
However, according to Sky Sports News, Villa have also been making enquiries, with Dean Smith's side identifying the South American as an ideal summer signing.
The report, meanwhile, claims that Tottenham Hotspur are admirers of the attacker and are keeping a close eye on developments ahead of the upcoming market.
Buendia, who is said to be valued by the Canaries in the region of £40m, still has more than three years left to run on his contract at Carrow Road.
