Arsenal and Newcastle United have reportedly been offered the chance to sign out-of-favour Barcelona attacker Philippe Coutinho.
Having failed to make a name for himself in La Liga since arriving from Liverpool in 2018, Coutinho has been persistently linked with a move back to the Premier League.
Arsenal and Newcastle United are two top-flight clubs that have been tipped to move for the attacker this summer, with Bayern Munich turning down the opportunity to sign Coutinho on a permanent basis following his loan spell in Germany.
According to Goal, Barca are desperately trying to instigate a sale and have offered the former Liverpool man to Arsenal and Newcastle.
Barcelona are supposedly keen to raise funds to aid their pursuit of Inter Milan forward Lautaro Martinez, although Arsenal are strapped for cash themselves and would reportedly prefer a loan move for Coutinho rather than a permanent deal.
Coutinho will remain at Bayern until the end of the current campaign, where he has registered nine goals and eight assists across all competitions for the Bundesliga champions.
