Thomas Giulini confirms Premier League interest in Godfred Donsah

Cagliari president Thomas Giulini confirms that both Manchester City and Arsenal could be interested in young Ghanaian midfielder Godfred Donsah.

Both Manchester City and Arsenal could be interested in Cagliari prospect Godfred Donsah, according to the club's president Thomas Giulini.

The 18-year-old Ghanaian has made 16 appearances for the Italian outfit this season having moved from Palermo last summer, and is thought to be under the radar of a number of top European clubs.

"Manchester City are interested, but Arsenal scouts were at the game against Inter to watch him," Giulini told Sky Sport Italia.

"My intention is to keep him for at least one more year. Cagliari need to remain in Serie A so we can continue to help these young players grow.

"It would be beneficial for Donsah's development to Remain at Cagliari for another season."

Cagliari currently occupy 18th place in the Serie A table.
