A report claims that Tottenham Hotspur are looking to bring in Pierre-Emile Hojbjerg and Max Aarons ahead of the 2020-21 campaign.

Tottenham Hotspur are reportedly eyeing up a double swoop for Southampton midfielder Pierre-Emile Hojbjerg and Norwich City defender Max Aarons.

Spurs have endured a disappointing 2019-20 and plans are already in place to bolster their squad ahead of next season.

According to The Athletic, Tottenham have two players in mind ready for when the summer transfer window opens.

Hojbjerg recently admitted that he is looking to leave Southampton, but the report claims that Spurs will not pay the full £35m that Southampton are after.

As well as negotiating with the Saints for Hojbjerg, the Lilywhites are said to be ready to open talks with Norwich for in-demand full-back Aarons.

The 20-year-old has caught the eye for a struggling Norwich side this term and is also rumoured to be a target for Tottenham's North London rivals Arsenal.
