Arsenal manager Arsene Wenger has refused to be drawn over persistent speculation linking the Gunners with Liverpool striker Luis Suarez.
Wenger reportedly had an initial enquiry for the Uruguayan rejected by Liverpool earlier this week, with Reds boss Brendan Rodgers adamant that the forward is not for sale.
After touching down in Indonesia for Arsenal's pre-season tour of Asia the Frenchman was quickly asked about Suarez, but refused to either confirm or deny reports of interest.
He told reporters: "Suarez? As you know the transfer period demands secrets and confidentiality, so I can't answer the question."
Real Madrid are also rumoured to be monitoring Suarez's situation closely, with the Gunners the only club to register a concrete enquiry at this stage.
