Arsene Wenger: 'No more Arsenal transfer business this month'

Arsene Wenger does not believe that Arsenal will be making any late moves as transfer deadline day approaches.

Arsenal manager Arsene Wenger has suggested that the Gunners will not be making any signings in the final three days of the January transfer window.

After being the only Premier League club not to make an outfield signing last summer, Arsenal did bolster their midfield earlier this month with the capture of Mohamed Elneny from Basel.

When asked if he was considering any more moves to help their push for a first league title in 12 years, Wenger told reporters: "No, not at the moment.

"We have 23 players in training - and plus two is 25 - so unless people go out we are not on the verge of bringing anybody in."

The Gunners have a near-clean bill of health after Alexis Sanchez made his return last weekend, with Tomas Rosicky and Danny Welbeck almost fully fit and midfielders Santi Cazorla and Jack Wilshere the only two players definitely out of tomorrow's FA Cup fourth-round tie with Burnley.
