Aston Villa are reportedly ready to give the green light for Trezeguet to sign for Istanbul Basaksehir on loan.
The 27-year-old has recently made his return from a serious knee injury, featuring for 10 minutes during Villa's recent Premier League defeat at Brentford.
However, at a time when Trezeguet has been representing Egypt at the Africa Cup of Nations, Villa boss Steven Gerrard has been making changes to his first-team squad.
According to the Daily Mail, the West Midlands outfit will not stand in Trezeguet's way if Istanbul Basaksehir wish to finalise a loan deal on Monday.
Trezeguet is no stranger to Turkish football having spent two years playing for Kasimpasa between 2017 and 2019, earning him his big-money move to Villa.
The attacker has been given regular minutes at the Africa Cup of Nations, playing a total of 239 minutes for his country across five outings.
