Aston Villa defender Alan Hutton is said to be on the verge of joining Real Mallorca on loan.
The out-of-favour 28-year-old, who has not featured for Villa's first team since May, recently returned to the club following a two-month spell at Nottingham Forest.
Mallorca reportedly want to sign Hutton until the end of the season and, according to Sky Sports News, talks between Villa and the Spanish outfit are at an advanced stage.
Hutton, whose current contract is due to expire in June 2015, wants to play regular club football in order to protect his place in the Scotland squad.
