Juventus manager Massimiliano Allegri has laughed off suggestions that Paulo Dybala could be on his way to Atletico Madrid.
The Spanish side have emerged as surprise rumoured contenders to sign the 24-year-old, who has already been linked with an array of heavyweight clubs.
Atletico are expected to have large funds to spend in the summer if Antoine Griezmann finalises a switch to Barcelona, and Diego Simeone is reportedly chasing compatriot Dybala to fill the void after the pair were spotted dining together in a Madrid restaurant last week.
Asked about the latest rumours linking the talented attacker with a move away from Turin, though, Allegri joked to the assembled press: "I hope Simeone at least offered him lunch!
"It happens. At this moment, the only important thing is for him to have a great end to the season, because it would be worth a lot to Juventus but also to him. In the end, I think he'll go to the World Cup."
Dybala has 62 goals in 127 appearances for Juventus in all competitions, including four in his last five outings.
