Barcelona are reportedly interested in signing Newcastle United winger Florian Thauvin in January.
The Spanish champions will have their transfer embargo lifted at the start of 2016 and according to Mundo Deportivo, the club are looking at the Frenchman as a replacement for Pedro.
The 22-year-old has made just three appearances for the Magpies since his summer move from Marseille, and it is believed that an offer between £14.6m and £18.3m would be needed to prize the young winger away from St James' Park.
Newcastle are back in Premier League action next Monday as they head to London to take on West Ham United.
