Barcelona midfielder Arthur will travel to Italy this weekend to undergo a medical with Juventus, according to a report.

Barcelona midfielder Arthur will reportedly travel to Italy this weekend to undergo a medical with Juventus.

The Spanish champions have allegedly reached an agreement with Juve for the transfer of Arthur, who will cost the Italian giants €10m (£9m) plus experienced midfielder Miralem Pjanic.

Neither club has confirmed the deal at this stage, but according to RAC1, the Brazil international will head to Turin this weekend to undergo a medical with Maurizio Sarri's side.

Arthur will reportedly finish the season at Camp Nou, though, while Pjanic will remain with Juve as both clubs will finish their Champions League campaigns in August.

The South American is expected to pen a five-year contract with the Serie A giants, who will continue their 2019-20 campaign at home to Lecce on Friday night.

Barca, meanwhile, are next in La Liga action away to Celta Vigo on Saturday afternoon.
