Brazil international Phillippe Coutinho is unlikely to leave Barcelona this summer, according to a report.

Phillippe Coutinho is reportedly unlikely to leave Barcelona in this summer's transfer window despite being strongly linked with a move away from the club.

The Brazil international has largely struggled to impress since joining the Spanish champions from Liverpool in January 2018.

The attacker only scored five times in 34 La Liga appearances during the 2018-19 campaign, which has led to suggestions that Barca are prepared to cut their losses this summer.

Manchester United, Liverpool and Paris Saint-Germain have all been credited with an interest.

However, according to Mundo Deportivo, neither the Catalan giants nor Coutinho's agent have received a formal approach for the former Inter Milan youngster in this summer's transfer window, meaning that he is likely to remain at Camp Nou.

Ernesto Valverde's side will continue their preparations for the new season against Arsenal on Sunday night.
