Craig Davies scored twice as Barnsley beat Doncaster 2-0 at Oakwell this afternoon.
The former Chesterfield striker found the back of the net from inside the area, just shy of the half-hour mark, to put the home side ahead at the break.
Minutes after the hour, Davies doubled both Barnsley's lead and his tally by beating Doncaster keeper Carl Ikeme to his top corner from Matt Done's assist.
With 10 minutes to go, Rovers defender Adam Lockwood was shown a red card for a tackle on Stephen Foster.
Barnsley move in to 15th in the Championship, condemning bottom-of-the-league Doncaster to their 11th league defeat of the season.
