Kaiserslautern go through

Kaiserslautern go through to the semi-finals of the DFB-Pokal by beating Bayer Leverkusen 1-0 at the BayArena.

Kaiserslautern have gone through to the semi-finals of the DFB-Pokal by beating Bayer Leverkusen 1-0 at the BayArena.

Leverkusen's Son Heung-Min and Kaiserslautern's Alexander Ring were both guilty of missing chances to put their respective sides in front early on.

The visitors' Mohamadou Idrissou was then given the opportunity to score from the penalty spot in extra time, but his attempt was saved.

The visitors did not dwell on the miss, however, and Ruben Jenssen sent Kaiserslautern through when he scored five minutes from time.
