Borussia Dortmund have confirmed that they have resigned Mario Gotze three years after he departed for rivals Bayern Munich.
The 24-year-old midfielder is thought to have signed a four-year contract worth £18.3m plus add-ons, according to Sky Deutschland.
Confirming the news, Bayern CEO Karl-Heinz Rummenigge said: "The talks were very fair and trustworthy, but we would like to thank Borussia Dortmund and Mario.
"I think the transfer is a good solution for all parties. Bayern would like to thank Mario for the three years he spent in the jersey of FC Bayern and wish him success in the future!"
