Franck Ribery has revealed that he has held initial discussions with Bayern Munich over a new contract.
The experienced Frenchman has spent the last nine years at the Allianz Arena, but as it stands, will be out of contract at the end of the 2016-17 season.
The 32-year-old has claimed that he has an offer to move to China, but wants to extend his stay in Germany.
"I have already talked a little with [Bayern] about a new contract," Ribery told Bild.
"I still want to stay here one, two more years longer. I am happy, truly happy, to live in Munich. It's great for my wife and children. If I want a lot more money, I would have to go to China. I had an offer. I'm not interested."
Ribery has only scored once for Bayern this season due to a host of injury problems.
