Birmingham City forward Peter Lovenkrands believes that the Blues are capable of having a successful season.
The 32-year-old, who signed to the Championship club last month, is confident that new manager Lee Clark can steer the club's players to glory.
"We're staying clear of injuries and it's all about getting the fitness back and getting ready for the first game of the season and the cup, of course, before that," Lovenkrands told the Birmingham Mail.
"As long as we work hard we will be ready and it's going in the right direction, definitely. We have got so much talent, and some bright young boys coming through as well."
Clark was appointed the new manager at St Andrew's following the departure of Chris Hughton to Norwich City.
