The fiancee of Bolton Wanderers midfielder Fabrice Muamba has thanked fans across the globe for their messages of support over the past 48 hours.
Twenty-three-year-old Muamba is currently in a critical condition at London Chest Hospital after suffering a cardiac arrest during his side's away match at Tottenham Hotspur on Saturday night.
However, a statement from the hospital earlier today revealed that Muamba was showing "small signs of improvement".
A friend went on to add that he had been speaking to family members in both English and French.
Now his wife to be, Shauna Muamba, has taken to Twitter to show her appreciation.
"All your prayers are working people thank u so so much. Every prayer makes him stronger. To God be the glory," she said.
An update on Muamba's condition is expected to be made at 7pm this evening.
