Bolton Wanderers manager Owen Coyle could hand 18-year-old midfielder Josh Vela his senior debut in tomorrow's relegation six-pointer against Wolverhampton Wanderers.
Darren Pratley, 26, will miss the clash after being substituted during Tuesday's 3-1 defeat at Tottenham Hotspur with a gashed leg.
Coyle's midfield options have been severely hit by injury. The Scot is also without Stuart Holden, who has a knee injury, and Fabrice Muamba, who is critically ill.
"Young Josh has been involved in squads before," Coyle told The Mirror.
"He has ability. He is going to be a terrific player. I turned down a big offer for him from a top club in August, so I have belief in him."
The Trotters have not lost in their last four meetings with Wolves.
