Borussia Dortmund coach Jurgen Klopp admits that he is "annoyed" with his side's 1-1 draw at Manchester City in the Champions League.

Borussia Dortmund coach Jurgen Klopp has admitted that he is "annoyed" that his side could only manage a 1-1 draw with Manchester City in the Champions League.

The Germans looked on course for the victory following Marco Reus's opener, but a late Mario Balotelli salvaged a point for the hosts at the Etihad Stadium.

"I am a little bit annoyed about this result, even though City deserved a draw as well," Klopp told UEFA.com. "We had them pinned down, so of course you'd like to take the three points in that case.

"We had countless chances, despite being the away team. However, we can build on this performance, as we were very disciplined tactically. It was a big step forward for us."

The draw means that Klopp's side are second in Group C, two points behind leaders Real Madrid.
