Borussia Dortmund clinch domestic double

Borussia Dortmund complete the first domestic double in the club's history with a 5-2 win over Bayern Munich in the German Cup final.

Borussia Dortmund have clinched the first domestic double in the club's history with a 5-2 win over Bayern Munich in the German Cup final.

Shinji Kagawa gave Dortmund the lead after only three minutes at the Olympic Stadium in Berlin before Arjen Robben levelled the scores from the penalty spot with 25 minutes played.

Mats Hummels regained the lead for Dortmund after 41 minutes with a penalty of his own, while the game looked to have been put to bed before the break through Robert Lewandowski.

The Pole netted again on the hour to extend his team's lead, but Franck Ribery gave his side some hope with a strike on 75 minutes.

However, Lewandowski completed his hat-trick soon after to seal a convincing and memorable win for Jurgen Klopp's side.
