Jurgen Klopp: 'We want maximum points before winter break'

Jurgen Klopp wants his side to win every game before the international break to keep in touch with Bayern Munich.

Borussia Dortmund coach Jurgen Klopp has targeted maximum points in the Bundesliga from now until the winter break, starting with the visit to Hoffenheim on Saturday.

Klopp said that topping their Champions League group could be the boost they need to kick-start their season, but expects Hoffenheim to offer stern competition at the weekend.

"After reaching the knockout stages of the Champions League, we want to pick up maximum points in the Bundesliga before the winter break," he told Bundesliga.com.

"We want to push ourselves as much as we can. Hoffenheim have a very strong team. It's going to be a very difficult game, there's no doubt about that."

Dortmund are currently third in the Bundesliga, 10 points behind leader Bayern Munich.
