Oscar: 'Argentina won't win World Cup'

Brazilian midfielder Oscar says that the host nation will do all that they can to stop Argentina from winning the World Cup.

Chelsea's Brazilian midfielder Oscar has insisted that Argentina will not win this summer's World Cup.

The tournament will be held in Brazil, which has resulted in the host nation being ranked among the favourites to lift the trophy along with their South American rivals.

"Don't even think about it - Argentina won't win even if hell freezes over! They are a great team but Brazil won't let that happen," he told Goal.com.

"They will have to play out of their skins because we are going to do everything to win this World Cup. I'm sure we'll bring this World Cup home."

Brazil have won the World Cup on a record five occasions.
