Lukas Jutkiewicz has expressed his determination to force his way back into the Burnley starting lineup.
The striker partnered Danny Ings earlier on this season, but a combination of a loss of form and a foot injury have limited his opportunities in recent weeks.
However, having now returned to full fitness, the 25-year-old is keen to give his manager Sean Dyche "a bit of a headache" as far as team selection is concerned.
"There's a lot of competition and it's up to us to give the manager a bit of a headache," the centre-forward told the Lancashire Evening Telegraph.
"I want to try and get back into the side and give the manager as big a headache as possible. The competition is healthy and everybody goes about training in the right manner. It's high tempo and intense all the time which works well for us."
Jutkiewicz is yet to score in any of his 19 appearances for the Clarets this term.
