David Marshall reported for Cardiff City's squad photo on Monday despite closing in on a switch to West Bromwich Albion.
The West Midlands side are said to be negotiating a £5m deal for Marshall, but the keeper appeared in a special squad photo with Bluebirds fans on Monday at the Cardiff City Stadium, where he was met by chants urging for him to stay.
Marshall has made over 230 appearances for the South Wales side following his move from Norwich City in 2009 and was made club captain last season.
The Scotland international produced a number of impressive performances during Cardiff's Premier League campaign two seasons ago and has previously been linked with Liverpool and Tottenham Hotspur.
