Neil Lennon pleased despite Europa League exit

Celtic boss Neil Lennon is happy with his side's draw at Udinese, despite their Europa League exit.

Celtic manager Neil Lennon was pleased with his side's 1-1 draw with Udinese, despite their Europa League exit.

The Hoops needed to win in Italy to enter the hat for Friday's knockout draw.

"I was very proud of the team, everyone made a fantastic contribution and with a bit of luck we'd be through," Lennon told ESPN.

"In terms of chances it was almost as good as we've played.

"To come away from home, to Italy of all places, and play like that was good to see."

The Bhoys continue their SPL campaign with a trip to St Johnstone on Sunday.
