Joe Ledley: Rangers are favourites

Celtic midfielder Joe Ledley believes that they are the underdogs heading into their Old Firm match with Rangers tonight.

Celtic midfielder Joe Ledley has insisted that Rangers are favourites heading into their Old Firm clash at Parkhead tonight.

A win for the Bhoys would see them move above their arch rivals to the top of the SPL after a staggering points swing in recent weeks.

Neil Lennon's side found themselves 15 points adrift of the Gers but eight wins on the bounce have seen them cut the gap to a solitary point.

Despite their great form, Ledley believes Celtic go into the game as underdogs.

"Obviously we are second, we are underdogs," commented Ledley.

"We are at home which is a bit of an advantage but it does not matter if we are favourites or underdogs, we just want to go out there and play our game and hopefully win."

Rangers won the first Old Firm meeting between the two sides earlier this year 4-2 at Ibrox.
