Ally McCoist says that the onus is on him to get results regardless of Rangers' off-field problems.

Rangers manager Ally McCoist has said that he must take responsibility for the Blues' poor performances.

The Glasgow club were docked 10 points after going into administration last month and have since struggled to gain positive results on the pitch.

"When you're manager there's nothing you can do really when the players cross over the white line. You can make tactical changes and things like that but it's out of your hands," said McCoist.

"You have to appreciate the players have got a job to do and you send them out to do that. That's probably the hardest part.

"With the result, the onus is on you as manager whether you win, lose or draw."

Fierce rivals Celtic can clinch the SPL title at Ibrox on Sunday should Motherwell fail to beat Kilmarnock the previous day.
