Aston Villa winger Scott Sinclair is in Glasgow undergoing a medical ahead of a proposed move to Celtic.
The 27-year-old has been on the Bhoys' radar since Brendan Rodgers took over as manager at the end of May.
Rodgers managed Sinclair during a successful promotion-winning spell with Swansea City, and he will be reunited with the Englishman should he pass his medical as expected.
Sinclair scored two goals in 27 appearances for Villa last season as the West Midlands outfit slipped to their first relegation of the Premier League era.
Celtic will hope to have the Chelsea academy product in their squad in time for their Champions League qualifying playoff tie with Israeli club Hapoel Beer-Sheva, with the first leg scheduled to take place on either August 16 or 17.
