Mubarak Wakaso closes in on Celtic move?

Rubin Kazan winger Mubarak Wakaso is reportedly close to completing a loan move to Scottish champions Celtic.

Celtic are reportedly close to securing the loan services of Rubin Kazan winger Mubarak Wakaso.

The Ghana international only arrived at his current club from Espanyol 12 months ago, but he has failed to settle in Russia.

That has resulted in interest from the Scottish champions, who are keen to have the 24-year-old available for tomorrow's Champions League qualifier against NK Maribor, according to reports.

For Wakaso to be permitted to feature against the Slovenians, he would need to be registered as a Celtic player by 11pm tonight.
